The spirit of giving.
Stylist Janice Pilarczyk of Mitchell’s Hair Salon is a great friend of the Ronald McDonald House of Durham — and so is Jan Beckwith. Janice is the co-founder of “Mother’s Day; a Cut Above” and for the second year in a row, she has given her time and talents to make Mother’s Day extremely special for our Moms.
Jan is a long time Ronald McDonald House of Durham volunteer and she was thrilled to get a high style haircut from one of Raleigh’s top stylists. So Janice, Thank you for giving Jan a great “thank you” gift.

Our volunteers are at the heart of our home. They cook and serve meals, lead activities, handle routine household chores (!!!) and are very good listeners. Volunteers like Jan are dedicated to helping our families during the most difficult times of their lives. If it needs to be done, a volunteer is there to lend a hand.
They deserve some TLC, too. Thanks, Janice.
(Actually, these photos represents a Triple Play of volunteers because photographer Dave Horne is a volunteer, too. We thank Dave as well as his girlfriend, Linda Fineman who gave us their Sunday!)

We blew a fuse!
Oh, no! All those blow dryers blew a fuse in the living room, so our stylists scrambled to find other spots to do their blow drying.
Brenda set up shop in the computer room!

It just shows you — it doesn’t matter how you get there…
…as long as you ARRIVE IN STYLE!
